About this blog

An online space for reflections on the world around me, with links to interesting articles, updates on current campaigns and general speculation. I'm hoping that it'll help me sort out my own thoughts/actions that maybe someone else will find it thought/action provoking too. If you wish to comment on, correct or link from anything you read, please leave a note.

Campaign of the day:

Unlock The Pig Issue - cruelty in Europe's pork farms

Do you know where your pork comes from? Pigs so crazed by cramped and filthy conditions that they resort to gnawing at each other are being supplied by farmers to British shops, a European study by Compassion for World Farming shows.

Make a difference by buying organic (or at the very least free range) unprocessed meat, checking labels and demanding higher welfare.
